Remarkable Father's Appreciation Dinner 2023

I am deeply honored to have received a nomination from Dayana Stanislaus for the inaugural Father's Appreciation Dinner and Award, an event hosted by Ngozi Ugoh of the Nigerian Newspaper. While Ngozi has been a longtime supporter of our work and is familiar with my family and team, this marked my first attendance at one of her events. Ngozi's extensive network and community involvement are truly impressive, and her recognition of our relentless efforts means a lot.

Being included among such influential individuals who are driving positive change within the community is a humbling experience. It underscores the significance of the work that lies ahead of me, as I strive to live up to the honor bestowed upon me. The event was made even more special by the presence of my mother, Enid Singh, who shared in the joy of the evening. Additionally, I had the privilege of spending the evening with Winston LaRose (Mr. Jane and Finch), who was rightfully celebrated with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The evening provided an opportunity for me to forge connections with new acquaintances, some of whom I am eager to nurture into lasting relationships. I am truly grateful for the honor bestowed upon me and for the beauty of the night itself. This experience has inspired me to redouble my efforts and continue making a meaningful impact within the community.
